This piece was created for a Spoon Show at the Morean Center for Clay in April, 2021. It is slab constructed. Red Art terra sigillata was applied and burnished before it was bisque fired to cone 04. A black copper oxide wash was used to add definition to the barbed wire motif. The wash was brushed on, then spritzed off with water. The piece was fired again to cone 5.
